 Avery Howell is a freshman guard for the USC Trojans women's basketball team, standing at 6 feet tall. She graduated from Boise High School in Boise, Idaho, in 2024, where she was a two-time Gatorade Idaho State Player of the Year. During her senior year, Howell averaged 21.2 points, 10.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 2.9 steals per game, leading her team to the 5A state semifinals. She concluded her high school career with 1,432 points, 970 rebounds, 214 steals, and 180 assists. Ranked as the nation's No. 23 recruit in the Class of 2024 by espnW, Howell was also selected as a 2024 McDonald's All-American, becoming only the second female player from Idaho to receive this honor. USC TROJANS Internationally, Howell trains with Canada's National Team and was named an alternate for the 2024 Canadian Olympic Team.
