As a former NCAA Division 1 athlete, Tara became a Four-time All-American, won Nationals and shattered two NCAA collegiate records in under 2 weeks, earning her the title of a double-record breaker. Tara represented Team USA in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, finishing sixth overall. Tara won the 2023 US National Championship title and also won a silver medal in at the 2023 World Athletics Championships. In a remarkable love story, Tara is married to Paralympian Hunter Woodhall. The track and field power couple met in high school while competing at a meet in Idaho and have been together ever since.
