Robert Griffin III, nicknamed RGIII, is a retired NFL quarterback. He played college football at Baylor, where he won the Heisman Trophy as a senior, and was selected second overall by Washington in the 2012 NFL Draft. He went on to win NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year honors. Griffin was born in Okinawa, Japan, where his parents, Robert Griffin Jr. and Jacqueline, both U.S. Army sergeants, were stationed. RGIII is currently an analyst for ESPN's Monday Night Countdown and college football broadcasts. He also appears on various ESPN studio shows to deliver his impassioned takes on the world of football.
