In 2017, our organization achieved a significant milestone as we ascended to the CT (Continental Team) level, marking our entry into the third division of the professional cycling world. This was a momentous leap forward, and it paved the way for a new era of excellence in our journey. The year 2019 stands as a testament to our relentless pursuit of greatness. It was, without a doubt, our most triumphant season at the CT level. We soared high, achieving a remarkable ranking among the top 60 best teams in the world. It was a time of pride and achievement that underscored our commitment to excellence in the world of professional cycling. Amidst the chaos of the pandemic, people were faced with an unprecedented way of living, one that they had not chosen. However, amidst the uncertainty and hardship, we witnessed an unforeseen silver lining, a new era of cycling that we never thought possible. From bicycle om twitch to virtual races, the cycling community adapted and thrived in ways we couldn’t have imagined. Moreover, the pandemic has taken a toll on people’s mental health, and we at the Nordic Sports Academy have always been committed to addressing this issue for our members. Despite the challenges that kept us apart, we sought new ways to connect with our athletes, to offer them a sense of community and support that they so desperately needed. That’s why we decided to expand our horizons and branch out, to be more than just a cycling club. We recognized the power of gaming and its ability to unite people, and we are now actively exploring the possibility of forming gaming teams. To reach our members, we turned to Discord and created a platform that would allow us to engage with them, even when we couldn’t meet them face-to-face. Our journey is not just about the past achievements; it’s a testament to the unwavering spirit that defines the Nordic Sports Academy. We’ve demonstrated our ability to climb the ranks, adapt to adversity, and continue to nurture the champions of tomorrow. As we move forward as the Nordic Sports Academy, we invite you to join us in this extraordinary journey, one that encapsulates the essence of passion, dedication, and the pursuit of excellence. However, like many others, we were not immune to the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. The impact was harsh, leading to our temporary transition to the Elite level under 21, with a resolute goal of regaining our CT status in the future. This setback has only fueled our determination to rise again, stronger and more resilient than ever before.
