I Love Boobies for CANSA Active started back in 2015 when Mother & Daughter Team Nicky & Mikayla Webb secured an entry to the ABSA Cape Epic for 2016, determined to make the long hours of training and preparation count for more, they teamed up with CANSA Active. The Race takes you to very remote towns in Southern Africa some of which have no hospitals or clinics. The Why was born: to get more Mobile Breast Screening Clinics into the remotes areas in SouthAfrica. Early detection gives the best chance of survival. Realising what a huge impact the I Love Boobies initiative was making on supporters and fellow racers alike, they decided to keep at it! A few years on and they have Athletes competing in Iron Man, Comrades Marathon, Coronation Double Century Race, Joberg2C, Absa Cape Epic, Two Oceans Marathon, 36ONE MTB Challenge, Swiss Epic, Trans Alps, Wines2Whales, Vuelta Espanje, Trans Baviaans, Sani2C. The I Love Boobies TEAMS and ATHLETES conquer extreme events in and around Africa and Europe to raise funds for CANSA Active, to help those who need it the most. I Love Boobies 4 CANSA Active’s mission is to promote an active and healthy lifestyle, which reduces the risk of cancer, while also raising funds and awareness for CANSA.
