 To whom It May Concern I am Edson Curado, of Angolan nationality, triathlon athlete who intends to represent Angola in the 2024 Olympic Games, in Paris, France. It is a big dream to be able to represent my country in such a big event. This challenge requires a lot of effort and I am focused on doing it. I am working really hard, pulling this project on my own, without any sponsorship so far. Due to the dedication that this project requires, I had to leave my formal job so that I can have all my attention, focus and time dedicated to this end. My preparation have been going perfectly, despite the lack of triathlon competitions in the country that are happening only once a year and also because of the pandemic situation that has created disturbances in all of us and, consequently, in sport. Still, I have been doing the best I can and have participated in the swimming, cycling and running events that take place throughout the year in order to maintain high performance and a high competitive level. Until recently everything was going well. I had all my bills settled and everything well prepared and planned, but my bicycle was stolen. I tried everything in my power to get it back but without success. Without the bike I can not work and it is been a big nightmare. This situation made me realize that I will not be able to carry on with this project alone and that I will need help.
