Billy Edwards Jr. was the 42nd-ranked recruit in Virginia. Compiled over 5,000 passing yards and 750 rushing yards over two seasons to go along with 59 passing touchdowns and six rushing touchdowns. He finished his junior season with 2,677 passing yards, 31 touchdowns, and just six interceptions, earning All-State honorable mention along with First Team All-District and First Team All-Region honors. After Redshirting at Wake Forest, Billy transferred to the University of Maryland in 2022. Billy Appeared in seven games, and started two games vs. Northwestern and NC State starting over an injured Taulia Tagovailoa. Billy is ready to take over the offense as the Future QB for the University of Maryland. In the 2024 TransPerfect Music City Bowl, Maryland defeated Auburn by a score of 31-13. Edwards was named the Music City Bowl MVP, throwing for 126 yards, 1 touchdown, and rushing for another 50 yards.
