I'm an obstacle course racing (OCR) athlete, currently a part of the Spartan Pro Team for the 2017 season. Growing up my main sport was gymnastics, where I was a part of the Slovenian National Team from 2000 to 2007, winning several National Championship titles and participating in many European championships and Youth Olympic Festival in 2006. After ending my gymnastics career, I transitioned to trail running and completed multiple races in the years between 2012 and 2015, setting 5 course records (still standing) for distances 30 km and longer, and winning a 50 mile trail race for my age group in 2013. Starting in June of 2016, I entered the world of obstacle racing through Spartan Race and immediately fell in love with the sport, combining my love of trail running and taking advantage of my gymnastics background. After winning 5 out of 8 races in 2016, Spartan recruited me on their Pro Team for 2017. I started the 2017 with 3 wins and 4 podiums out of 4 races ran, and looking forward to an amazing year of OCR!
