Raevyn started her pro career with breaking the 4x800m World Indoor Record this February, coming 2nd at the US Indoor Championships and winning a gold medal as part of the 4x400m US World Indoor Team. Later that summer, Raevyn finished runner-up at the US Championships and won the 800m at the inaugural Athletics World Cup in London. The following year, Raevyn scored another top-3 finish at the US Championships, qualifying her for her first World Championships team. At the final of the women's 800m at the World Championships in Doha, Raevyn ran a thrilling race, moving seventh in second place in the final 100 meters, earning the silver medal. In addition to being a world-class middle distance runner, Raevyn is fluent in Spanish and also a serious artist.
