Why you should sponsor me for your next influencer campaign?

I don’t believe in dreams, I believe that if you truly want something, you will do everything you possibly can in order to achieve it. My name is Ranee Tamia James, I am 20 and I am an equestrian athlete and Student. My desire to achieve my dreams and persistence leads me to purse every possible route in order to achieve them. I believe in opportunity, however, I am a strong believer opportunity does not just fall in your lap, it is acquired through a get up and go attitude and the constant pursuit of existing opportunities, as well as creating opportunities for yourself. My love for horses and the equestrian sport an unexplainable one, without sounding too cliché, ever since a young age I have always loved horses, even before I even physically saw one in person. My family on the other hand cannot stand animals, and feel horses are built “disproportionally”, so it is a wonder to them where my love for horses comes from. A late bloomer, I established my riding career at the age of 14, by volunteering at a stable in the neighbouring borough. I worked after schools and weekends, as well as every free moment I had; grooming horses, leading young riders and carrying out yard duties in exchange for the opportunity to ride the horses. Even though at times I would work for months before I even got to ride, just being around horses was enough for me, and that experience has helped me to be the horsewoman I am today. I'll never forget who taught me how to saddle a horse. When I turned 16 I loaned my first horse; a 13 year old thoroughbred rescue who was bred to race and never raced. She was poorly treated in her previous home, and was at times dangerous, however, I spent all my free time with her and gave her as much love as I could, until personal circumstances meant I had to give her up. I worked hard to pay for my lessons, trying to ensure I had at least one lesson monthly. At 18 I took a scholarship opportunity and moved to my country of origin Antigua. Here I began to have weekly lessons, and was opened to the opportunity of competing as well as getting to ride a variety of horses. Not only did I get the opportunity to ride, but also the opportunity to take on rescue horses and nurture and train them. Since i was little, it has always been my dream to compete Internationally representing Antigua, and my time in Antigua has allowed me to build the foundations to do so. Through dedication and commitment and well as natural talent and being in good physical shape, I have quickly excelled to reach a skill of riding that takes some riders many years to achieve in only a short space of time. My rigorous education and training have taught me hard work and commitment. Over the past few years I have traded friends, family time and my social life, for hard work, hard abs, occasional bruising and of course, blood, sweat and tears. I have many goals and aspirations for my future, with my main goal being to compete in the Olympic Games, with my eyes on the 2024 Olympic Games. To me, this goal is very achievable, and funding me is the first step towards me achieving this goal. Additionally to this, I would like to establish my own world-renowned equestrian facilities, and I have recently been accepted the top 5 equine schools in the U.K., including the world-famous Hartpury University where I will be studying my bachelor's degree in Equine Business Management, as well as access to their world-class facilities.

OpenSponsorship Releases World Cup Brand Activation Data as FIFA 2026 Kicks Off

OpenSponsorship Releases World Cup Brand Activation Data as FIFA 2026 Kicks Off

Press Release · New York, NY

The world's largest athlete marketing platform reports 277 million views from soccer creators in the last eight weeks, with 1,552 bookable soccer athletes ready for brand activation across 15+ countries. Clients including Walmart and USA Today are already activating ahead of kickoff.

OpenSponsorship, the world's largest athlete marketing platform backed by Serena Williams and David Blitzer, today released proprietary data showing the scale of the creator opportunity around the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which kicks off Thursday, June 11th in North America. With brands including Walmart and USA Today already activating soccer creator campaigns through the platform, OpenSponsorship is positioned as the go-to partner for brands looking to win the biggest sports marketing moment of the decade.

The platform's soccer roster has generated 277 million views in the last eight weeks alone, with 276 viral posts clearing 100,000 views across just 86 athletes. OpenSponsorship has 1,552 publicly listed and bookable soccer athletes across 15+ countries, including 893 in the United States, alongside athletes from the UK, Mexico, Canada, Spain, Brazil, France, Nigeria, and more.

Brands that can't sign elite players can still reach their audience

With 48 nations competing in the largest World Cup in history, brands face a common challenge: the biggest names are either off limits or out of budget. OpenSponsorship's data shows that mid-tier and creator talent routinely out-reaches their follower counts by 50 to 100x — giving brands access to the same passionate fan audiences at a fraction of the cost of global stars.

“The World Cup is the biggest commercial moment in sports marketing history, and the brands that win it will not be the ones who waited for the tournament to start. Our soccer athletes have already generated 277 million views in the last two months. The audience is engaged, the creators are ready, and the window to activate at the best rates closes when kickoff happens.” — Ishveen Jolly, Founder & CEO, OpenSponsorship
Walmart and USA Today: what World Cup activation actually delivers

OpenSponsorship's recent Walmart Soccer Saturday campaign demonstrates what's possible when brands activate the right soccer creators. The campaign — which featured AA9Skillz, Brittany Wilson, Matty Farias, Sean Garnier, and others — generated the following:

11.6M

4.5%
engagement — ~2x industry benchmark

USA Today is also activating soccer creator campaigns through OpenSponsorship ahead of the World Cup, leveraging the platform's roster of 1,552 bookable soccer athletes to reach highly engaged audiences across the US, Canada, and Mexico — the three host nations for the 2026 tournament.

“When creators genuinely love a sport and an event, it shows in the content. The Walmart campaign worked because the athletes were authentic soccer fans first and brand partners second. That authenticity is exactly what drives the kind of engagement numbers brands cannot get from traditional advertising.” — Ishveen Jolly, Founder & CEO, OpenSponsorship
The World Cup activation window

OpenSponsorship's data shows a clear opportunity curve for World Cup brand activation. Athletes are available now at pre-tournament rates, with demand and pricing expected to rise sharply once the group stage begins June 11th.

  • Kickoff — June 11: the group stage is the viral window, where trending athletes are still affordable before bidding wars begin.
  • The Final — July 19, MetLife Stadium: the highest-profile moment for brands that have already built creator relationships.

Brands that lock in creator partnerships before the tournament begins benefit from lower rates, more authentic content, and deeper athlete relationships that extend beyond the tournament window. OpenSponsorship's white-glove managed service handles sourcing, contracting, content briefing, delivery, and ROI reporting end to end.

High School NIL: A Brand's Guide to Sponsoring High School Athletes

High school NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) opened a door that didn't exist three years ago: brands can now sponsor high school athletes directly, in most US states, with real money changing hands. For brands looking to reach a younger demographic, build long-term creator relationships, or get in early with future stars, this is the most overlooked opportunity in athlete marketing.
