I’m Owen Gayle, an elite level British strength athlete with 9 world records and 27 British records/titles across Powerlifting, Strongman, and Streetlifting. I hold the u70kg Strongman deadlift world record (the first person at under 70kg to ever pull over 300kg in strongman), I'm ranked number in the world in Streetlifting (the fastest growing calisthenics 1RM strength sport) with numerous world and British records and titles, and now ranked number 1 in the UK within powerlifting across every powerlifting federation.
I’m currently one of the most successful and versatile strength athletes in the UK, with elite-level results in three separate disciplines, a rarity in strength sport. Even more uniquely, I’m achieving this at 40, continuing to gain muscle, break records, and out-perform lifters half my age. I’ve become a symbol of longevity, resilience, and next-level strength, and my story is resonating more and more across the strength community.

I’m officially representing Great Britain at the WPC World Powerlifting Championships this November in Durban, South Africa, where I’m aiming to break the all-time world record total in the 67.5kg class, the biggest total of all time across every powerlifting federation in the world.
