 I’m Nina, a professional marathon runner based in California. I'm the mom of almost 1-year-old Matthew, the winner of the San Francisco marathon and 3rd place in the Los Angeles Marathon, 4-time Global Winner of the Wings For Life World Run by Red Bull. I have a degree with honors in math and computer science. I was a normal nerd until age 23 when I decided to run my first marathon despite having no severe sports background. After years of consistent training, I turned my passion for long-distance running into a professional career. I represent the Armenian National Team at International competitions, such as the Olympics and World and Euro Championships. In 2024 I set a new national record at the marathon, breaking the one that had lasted for over 20 years. I'm aiming to be the first Armenian runner at the Marathon Olympics, and I am still confident that all my personal bests will be in the future.
