Nikole 'Nikki' Barnes is a Tokyo Olympian in the sport of Sailing, a Coast Guard military veteran, and a soon to be mom. Growing up as one of the only female sailors of her time in the Virgin Islands, Nikki is passionate to set an example as a strong female athlete and is currently training for the next three Olympics while building a family. Nikki has personally struggled with mental health after the Olympic Games in Tokyo and is currently working with the Overwatch Collective in bringing awareness to mental health issues with military and first responders.
