#1 Female Flyweight Amateur Boxer in the USA Ginny Fuchs is an American flyweight boxer and southpaw from Houston, Texas, as well as the current team captain for USA Boxing (the national governing body for Olympic-style amateur boxing overseen by the United States Olympic Committee and the International Boxing Association). She is currently ranked #3 in the world. After she started entering boxing tournaments, her stock quickly rose and she qualified for the 2012 Olympic Trials. Ginny ultimately finished fourth in the Olympic Trails which fueled her drive to reach the 2016 Olympics in Brazil—and now, the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. A winner of multiple tournaments, Ginny has also been a finalist in the 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 U.S. Nationals and Champion of the 2016, 2017, and 2018 U.S. Nationals.
