Michael “OJ” Ojemudia is a 2nd-year cornerback for the Denver Broncos. Michael was born in Farmington Hills, Michigan just outside of Detroit, and attended Harrison High School. Michael played his college ball at the University of Iowa where he majored in mechanical engineering and quickly became an impact player on the field. By his senior year, he solidified himself as a lockdown corner and was named second-team All-Big Ten by the Associated Press. After a strong showing at the NFL Combine, Michael began moving up draft boards and was eventually selected by the Denver Broncos in the 3rd round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Michael made his first career start in the Broncos’ 2020 season-opener against the Tennessee Titans. He finished his rookie season with 62 tackles, 4 forced fumbles, & 6 pass deflections. Michael worked with Focus HOPE & Detroit Impact as part of the NFL’s My Cause, My Cleat campaign to work to overcome racial and economic inequalities & mentor and encourage at-risk youth in Detroit.
