Mariam Bolkvadze is a 26 year old professional tennis player from Georgia. She picked up a racquet at the age of eight and decided to become a professional tennis player at ten. Building on early successes in Junior tournaments, Mariam has gone on to achieve a top 200 ranking and competed at all Grand Slams: Wimbledon, the US Open, Roland Garros and the Australian Open. Mariam was the fourth ever Georgian to compete in the main draw of a women's Grand Slam, and also represents her country in the Fed Cup.
