Currently an Exercise Science teacher at Kipp Freedom Middle School (South Bronx, N.Y.), JR brings over 15 years of high school, college, & professional basketball experience as a player & coach into his coaching regimen. Former CEO of the Rocktown Monarchs AAU Basketball Program, JR has a new vision with the launch of Fitness Fabs Incorporated. In an unprecedented time of Covid-19, a common theme many people have begun to gravitate towards is a focus on mental & physical health & wellness. Fitness Fabs Inc. brings fashion, & fitness all in one feel. As a true athlete, comfort is always a priority. In essence, if when you look good, you play good. Coach JR is passionate about impacting the youth in his community using Fitness, Sports, & Exercise as a platform of outreach. Since graduating from Rutgers University in 2009, he has taken his professional basketball talents to compete in over 12 countries worldwide (Japan, China, Lithuania, Czec Republic, Israel to name a few). “We are all bridge builders”, says coach JR. “My Legacy lives through all of the student athletes who I am fortunate to come across”.
