 Johnathan Abram is a Safety for the Oakland Raiders. He was drafted out of Mississippi St. University in the 1st Round of the 2019 NFL Draft. His hard-work and passion for football launched him into the scene during his final two seasons at Mississippi State. In 2017, he started seven games and was second in the team in total tackles with 71. Going into the 2018 season, Johnathan was touted as one of the top secondary players in the country. He led Mississippi St. in total tackles with 99 which ranked him eighth in the SEC. Johnathan earned six All-America honors while being named All-SEC 1st Team. His stand-out play secured his spot as the number one safety heading into the draft. Johnathan heads into his rookie season with the Raiders ready to help develop the team’s culture. He has been a stand out since day one with his instinctive nature for the game, hard-hitting, and vocal leadership. Veterans and coaches have praised Johnathan for his knowledge and intense enthusiasm on and off the field. Born and raised in Mississippi, Johnathan was a star two-sport athlete at Columbia East Marion.
