As the first black woman to play Duke University softball, Jillian Nobles is a trailblazer. From Chino Hills, CA she finished her high school career at Long Beach Polytechnic High School playing volleyball and earned a full-ride volleyball scholarship to North Carolina A&T State University. While attending the #1 public HBCU, she played 2 NCAA Division 1 sports simultaneously; volleyball and softball, and started on both teams. She finished her last year of eligibility at Duke University on the Duke Softball's first varsity team ever in program history.
