Ella Boerger from Andover, Minnesota is a freshman at the University of St. Thomas and is one to the top women's ice hockey players in the country. Boerger has already made an immediate impact for the Tommies, as part of the highly talented freshman class. She has been named Rookie of the Week in the WCHA twice since the start of her freshman season. Prior to St. Thomas, Boerger player at Andover High School, where she finished her high school career with 231 points only behind Peyton Hemp (253) on Andover's all-time career points list. In her 112 career high school games, she scored 112 goals and tallied 119 assists. In February of 2023, she was named Ms. Hockey, presented to the best female senior high school hockey player in the state of Minnesota.
