My name is Colin Blackwell and I am a current professional hockey player for the Toronto Maple Leafs. I am a 2016 graduate of Harvard University, with a major in Government and minor in Psychology, while also a member of the Harvard University Men's Varsity Ice Hockey Team. I have spent the last several seasons with the Milwaukee Admirals, Nashville Predators, New York Rangers, and picked in the 2021 NHL expansion draft by the Seattle Kraken, before being acquired by the Maple Leafs. Hockey is what many people see from The outside, but there is a whole lot more to my story. I am a story perseverance, after taking two years off from hockey during my sophomore year of college due to severe post-concussion syndrome, I thought about life after hockey. After healing, I began my climb through the hockey ranks to get back to where I was before the traumatic brain injury, and ultimately to my childhood goal of the NHL. I am a proud NHL journeyman, Harvard Grad and much more.
