He is just starting to gain a lot of traction on social media with his surfing and especially in Costa Rica is often re-posted by the Costa Rican Surf Federation or other surf accounts, which reach 150K+ followers on social media. Carlos has a fun personality that quickly builds relationships with the people he meets. He has a great energy and will always make sure that your brand comes off in a positive light. As a child, Carlos was already an accomplished skateboarder, and by the age of 10 had won various skate competitions. His skateboarding skills quickly translated into an incredible gift for surfing, especially at reaching impressive heights with his aerial maneuvers and his passion for big waves (10ft+), which make for great content. His powerful surf style, coupled with daring air jumps, and a no-fear attitude has made Carlos one of the most respected surfers in Costa Rica. Carlos has been competing locally since he was 12, and is now focusing on the national tournaments of the National Surf Circuit. For the future, Carlos is determined to be selected for the Costa Rican National Team in the coming years (category OPEN) where he will show his talents both nationally and internationally. He will start the World Surf League Qualifying Series in 2019 where he will travel to many countries to compete. His ultimate dream is to surf the Championship Tour in the World Surf League.
