 Hi, my name is Sammyra Albarran. I am a full time student and part time volleyball coach. I came from Puerto Rico to the US as a student for a better education and to better myself as a volleyball athlete. Ever since I came I was able to pick up the English language fairly quickly. Since the time I have been here, I have been able to improve as an athlete while maintaining a good GPA. Not to mention, I decided to coach volleyball kids as a way to give back to the community. I have worked really hard to be where I am currently and always look to be involved in a community to somehow give back. If I’m able to get this sponsorship it will be a major opportunity for me because it will give me the opportunity to be part of an amazing organization and help me with my career/self development. My major interest is volleyball because it allows me to have a bond with my team and it’s something I am very passionate about it. At the same time, it allows me to teach the importance of working in a team. So, when I coach, I enjoy giving back and teaching kids the traits I learned from the sport such as the importance of sacrifice, teamwork, being appreciative and overall hard work and how when you work hard anything is possible. I also consider myself very outgoing and charismatic, I love pictures and social media. I’d also like to add that I have any an experience with sponsorships before , so I am very open-minded and very willing to take any opportunity that comes my way.
