Won twice in Australia before going on to win on the Challenge Tour in 2015 but narrowly missed out on graduation. Represented New Zealand at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. A landmark 2016 season included victory at the Tayto Northern Ireland Open and eight top-ten finishes in 13 Challenge Tour events – which earned him fourth place in the Rankings.
