He was ranked the second-best inside linebacker in the draft by NFL analyst Bucky Brooks, the third best inside linebacker by NFLDraftScout.com, the fifth best linebacker by Sports Illustrated, and was ranked the tenth best linebacker in the draft by ESPN.
