Quez Watkins is a native of Athens, Alabama. He attended his hometown school, Athens High School, where he had an astonishing football career. Upon graduating high school, Watkins would attend the University of Southern Mississippi, where he would thrive at the wide receiver position. At Southern Miss, Watkins would go on to have three strong seasons, putting up amazing stats such as: 2,404 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns (second-most in school history). As a redshirt junior, he secured a first-team All-Conference USA selection after posting 1,178 receiving yards and six touchdowns for the Golden Eagles during the 2019 season. Watkins was originally selected by the Eagles in the sixth round (200th overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft. Watkins played collegiately at Southern Mississippi, where he produced 2,404 yards and 17 TDs on 159 receptions. Off the field, Quez has a passion for family and the youth of tomorrow. He’s made it part of his DNA to give back to the community of Athens, AL and the youth of tomorrow.
