Hello, my name is Nick Oestreich, I am an elite track sprinter from Powder Springs GA. I began riding on the road when I was seven with my dad as a way for us to spend time together. My track career began after my dad took me to the local track for one of the weekend races and the rest is history. I began riding on the track I started riding in the youth cycling program at the Dick Lane Velodrome and moved from the slowest group of the youth cycling program to racing with the elite group of adults. As I have grown older, I have become more successful on the bike. I race for the junior national team at two world championships and have been the junior national champion in the match sprint, Kirin and team pursuit and the collegiate national champion in the match sprints. I currently am the toped ranked keirin rider in the U.S, second-ranked match sprinter and third-ranked track kilo rider. Outside of cycling, I am a student at Belmont abbey College where I am majoring in political science.
