I took up the game at the early age of 4 years old and achieved rapid inroads, reaching the top echelons of the amateur game by the age of 14 with a handicap of 0. I have played 2 consecutive British Junior Opens, finished top of the junior order of merit for 3 consecutive years, won 4 KGU ( Kenya Golf Union ) events as a junior, successfully represented the Kenyan team on numerous occasions, and participated in the prestigious Barclays Kenya Open at the age of 17 years old. Furthermore, I studied at BSI South Africa in Johannesburg, where I won 3 tournaments before turning pro in September 2021 MY GOALS Given the constraints of Covid-19, I intend to participate in tournaments in : 1. Kenya’s Safari Tour 2. South Africa’s Sunshine Tour I intend on working towards obtaining a European Tour or a full Challenge Tour category within the next 3 years. I have given myself a time constraint of 3 years because I feel like this is enough time to develop as a professional, yet still continue to improve and compete at this particular level. I’ve been fortunate to have a very good end of year as an amateur and I now want to build on that as a professional. The confidence that I have gained through winning has elevated my game to a new level and I fully believe that I have the ability to reach my goals and my ambitions of being one of the best players in Africa, Europe and eventually the world.
