 My name is Lucy Hancock, I am 21 years old, and I have been a dedicated high-level athlete for the last 13 years in the Ice-Skating field, specifically Ice dance. Ice skating has been a passion of mine from the age of 8 and has taken me travelling all over the world competing at large events and creating experiences like no other. I moved away from my home and family in England to live in Berlin, Germany in order to chase my ice skating dreams, and now I am living in the U.S, where the training facilities, coaching and opportunities are greater! Recently, I competed with my ice dance partner Ilias Fourati, in the European Championships held in Lithuania which was a surreal experience, and the previous year we had the opportunity to compete in the FISU World University Winter Games- another unforgettable experience. Together, we are 2x Silver national medallists for Hungary. While in America, I also obtained an Associate's Degree in Health and Human Performance and became a certified personal trainer, which led me to work at LEVEL Fitness Club—a job I truly love! My goals in this sport are to be top 10 in the world and go on to be a high competitor at the World Championships and Winter Olympic Games. I am dedicated to achieving these goals and certain I can attain such high standards as an athlete in the Ice-skating world, but I would need some help along the way.
