 Katie Love has been sailing her entire life, and racing sailboat since the age of seven. Katie grew up in San Diego and sailed year-round. Her skill and more importantly her passion lead her to a successful career in sailing. Her previous career was driving tugboats as a tug captain. Katie competes in boats that have never been sailed by women and is breaking the glass ceiling in various aspects of the sport. She has been named "skiff queen," by the international fleets, because of her ability to sail any skiff and do it well! She is currently attempting to represent the USA in the summer 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.
