Jenny Jakobsen, the 16 year old girl from Norway who sacrificed a lot for her racing. She is one of the most young and upcoming girls in motorsport. She started racing in top level karting after her debut season, and later achieved multiple podium finishes and awarded best female international karting driver by FIA. Here is an overview of her career. She did her first season in karting in 2016, already fighting for the podium in the norwegian championship, she was chosen as the only karting driver to represent Norway in the FIA european junior championship (FIA Karting Academy Trophy) in 2017, where she was on top of the lists several times, and a lot of people noticed her name. She was also the best norwegian driver that has ever represented Norway in these series, as well as the best girl of 6 every round. She also competed in the German Championship where she impressed hugely. After her second season she was invited to Milan, where she received her trophy together with the world and european kart champions. She also had her first go in a single seater (F4) and a BMW M3 series in 2017. In 2018 she competed in the european championship, world championship and world series in karting, against the best karting drivers in the world with the team Ward Racing. In 2018 she became a part of the national team of Norway containing the 15 best racing drivers in Norway. They follow every driver closely, offering personal fitness and nutrition programs, and also personal coaching and training camps. In 2018 she also became a part of Bailly Driver Development which is managed by Benjamin Bailly, who is a former F2 driver. He is a professional driver coach, who followed Jenny at all her races in 2018 coaching her. In 2019 Jenny became a part of Andy Priaulx Sport Management (APSM). Being a part of this means that she gets regularly coaching from 3x world touring car champion Andy Priaulx, and also access to Izone Driver Performance which is a very professional training center with advanced racing simulators, mind coaching and gym. This is what Jenny has been doing in 2019 as it is cheaper than racing, while working to find the budget to do a full season in 2020. After becoming a part of this, Jenny decided to make a life changing decision. She left all her family and friends, to move to Silverstone, England to dedicate her life to motorsport at the age of 16. She decided to study at Silverstone UTC located at the legendary F1 Silverstone Circuit. Izone Driver performance is also located at the circuit, where she trains regularly under APSM.
