Ivan is a new member of the Canadian Beach Volleyball national team. He was born in Montreal from Ukrainian parents. He now calls his hometown Toronto. He is a proud Canadian and speaks fluently English, French and Russian. Ivan has an uncontested passion for fitness and nutrition. He is also strongly involved in the volleyball community in Montreal and Toronto. He currently coaches two youth teams and is about to be a certified level 2 head coach. He studied hotel management and lived in Australia for almost a whole year to train and become a national team athlete. Ivan is constantly setting himself new goals with a unique appreciation for the process. His long term goal is to be an Olympic medalist and to inspire younger generations to pursue what they love the most. He is looking to work with partners that share similar values and are passionate about what they do.
