Hunter Harvey, rookie pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles, is from a small town outside of Charlotte, NC where his family has established generations of history. Following in his father’s footsteps, Hunter’s dad is a two-time MLB All-Star whoplayed in the Major Leagues from 1987 – 1995. Hunter is very family oriented and enjoys spending time with his grandparents, parents, fiancée, two siblings, and nieces. His interests include deer hunting, being outdoors, dogs, and playing video games. Hunter was drafted in the first round of the 2013 MLB Draft as a starting pitcher out of a high school. He was named to the 2014 Future’s All Star Game and has been a highly anticipated prospect since. In 2019, Hunter returned strong and healthy after battling injuries and undergoing Tommy John surgery. Hunter was then moved to the bullpen where he recorded pitches exceeding 100 MPH leading to his promotion to the Major Leagues.
