Grayson is a husband and father to one young son. With strong roots in South Carolina, Grayson is a diehard Gamecocks fan and alum who helped his team compete in the 2012 College World Series. Outside of baseball, Grayson enjoys spending time with his family and dog. His interests include the New Orleans Saints, video games, golfing, hunting and fishing. Grayson stands at 6 foot 6, making him the tallest catcher in MLB. Although catcher is his primary position, Grayson also plays first base. Drafted in the third round of the 2014 MLB Draft, Grayson has been a highly touted prospect for the Tigers following an impressive college career at South Carolina. His accomplishments as a Gamecock are unparalleled including a 2014 semi-finalist for the Johnny Bench Award, being named to the 2013 and 2012 USA Baseball Collegiate National Teams, and competing in the 2012 College World Series.
