 HV3 is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. He is known for his charismatic personalty and large smile which you will always see no matter the situation. He is a hard working individual who spends a lot of time giving back to kids through his own charity, the HV3 Foundation. Launched in January 2019, the mission is to provide affordable access to youth in sports. The HV3 Foundation fully funds Youth on Course Carolina, which is a program that allows youth golfers in the state of NC/SC to play golf for just $5 a round. HV3 is one of just a handful of African-American professional golfers. He is the first African American to graduate off the Web.com tour. He won the Australian PGA Championship in December 2016. He played his collegiate golf at East Carolina University and was the first player in school history to be named Conference USA player of the year. In December 2016, Varner earned his first professional golf victory by winning the Australian PGA Championship, a tournament co-sanctioned by the PGA Tour of Australasia and the European Tour. He is only the second American to win the Australian PGA Championship and the first since Hale Irwin won it in 1978.
