GOLD COAST DERBY GRRLS is a non-profit organization committed to promoting the sport of roller derby, empowering women, and giving back to communities through cultural awareness and supporting organizations that make a difference in people’s lives. GOLD COAST DERBY GRRLS formed in 2007 and represents team members from across Palm Beach, Broward, and Dade counties. We are a non-profit (501(c)4),all-women’s professional Roller Derby league and are governed through the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA). We are nationally ranked and in 2011 were the first league ever to achieve initial WFTDA qualification and an invitation to the regional tournament all within the same year. As of January 2015, GCDG is ranked in the top percentage of Roller Derby teams worldwide and are looking to continue in our growth and success for years to come!
