New York Gridlock Ultimate (NYGL) is the first professional ultimate frisbee team for women, non-binary and genderqueer athletes from the New York City area. We are a participating team in the Premier Ultimate League. Our mission is to achieve competitive excellence on the field and equity in the sport of ultimate by increasing accessibility to and visibility of women, non-binary and genderqueer ultimate players. We achieve this by providing high-quality competition, leadership experiences, and community partnerships. NYGL continues to work towards inclusivity for all women, cis and trans, and is striving to make space in the league for non-binary and genderqueer people, while taking in the gift that is gender expansiveness.
