 I am an Athlete I am a Professional Off Road Racer I am a business owner And most importantly I am overcoming my Spinal Cord Injury daily! PLEASE VIEW MY STORY IN THE MEDIA LINK BELOW..... In 1998 I broke my back during a Professional Motocross race in Southern California. As a result of my accident I was defined as a paraplegic by numerous doctors and specialists. I was told I would be confined to a wheelchair for the remainder of my life. I was not satisfied with this reality and chose to redefine my future. I chose to create my own destiny. Through desire and unrelenting determination, I have overcome many challenges. In 2009 I won a Gold Medal racing a motorcycle at the Extremity Games, part of the XGames broadcast on ESPN. In 2012 I trained for and completed the 111-mile bicycle event, the El Tour De Tucson. And in 2013 I completed the Ironman 70.3 in California. I now walk with the help of lower leg braces and race professionally as part of the Lucas Oil OffRoad Series. I am proof that will, determination and the human spirit can provide the tools necessary to overcome any challenge. But my journey isn’t over. I will use my story to inspire, motivate and give hope to others facing similar challenges. Children, adults, veterans, anyone who is faced with a challenge they don’t believe they can overcome.
