She began boxing just under seven years ago in hopes of making it to the Olympic Trials. While she didn't make it to the trials, she did end her amateur career as a WBC All-Female Elite champion and ranked #8 in the US by USA Boxing. As a pro Dee has had her hands wrapped by the legendary Roy Jones Jr, and won her last fight by KO, where she was the b-side to the hometown favorite.
