In the unique sport of timbersports, Dakota is a second generation athlete and in 2021 was in the top 20 professional athletes in the US Stihl Timbersports, as seen on CBS Sports. He is a father of two young boys and a husband. He met his wife in her hometown during the Lumberjack World Championships, as she is also a professional athlete in timbersports. Supporting the family business would mean Dakota gets to continue to spend irreplaceable time with his wife and children and gets to be one of the biggest influences in their lives. Partnering with their lumberjack show will ensure they get to travel the country together and promote their country’s history and current efforts in conservation, forestry, and sustainability.
