(Jan 27th 2018 to Feb 17th 2018) For the opening ceremony, we have invited Mayor of Centerton (Mr. Bill Edwards), President/CEO chamber of Commerce (Mr. Graham Cobb), and Consulting Coach for USA cricket team (Mr. Peter Wellings aka coach Wello, provided he is not on his USA Cricket road shows) What’s Next? After the tournament, our primary focus would be to organize cricket events for kids, train/coach kids age group of 5-18 years. We aim to develop their cricket skills, promote and get them ready to play at bigger tournaments, nationally. We will be working closely with Coach Wello (Consulting Coach for USA cricket Team), California Bears, and Cricket Council USA to create various training programs. Along with local coaches, we will have visiting coach from all over the world (England, Australia, India, Pakistan, Sri lanka, etc.,) We are working on inviting teams from out of state (Adult and youth teams) and are working on putting together a tournament this summer. For a cricket tournament about 250-300 people travel from other states, this will help local businesses as well We are also working to develop youth cricket programs for schools and few schools have already shown some interest.
