Casey Ratzlaff is a US Paralympic wheelchair tennis player and the top-ranked American Male in the sport of wheelchair tennis. Born with Spina Bifida, he was introduced to the sport of wheelchair tennis in 2011, by Paralympian tennis legend, Nick Taylor. Casey represented the USA Jr. National Team 2013-2016, where he was part of 2 World Championship Winning teams. Since 2018, Casey has been competing with the Men’s US National Team and won a Silver medal in Men’s Doubles at the 2019 Para Pan American Games in Lima, Peru. His Paralympic debut was in Tokyo 2020 where he had the honor of representing Team USA at the pinnacle of sport. He has been the highest-ranked Male in the US since 2018. In 2019, Casey received the Wild Card selection to his first Grand Slam at the US Open and has ever since been competing in the Slam on the largest stage in world tennis. In February 2023, Casey reached a career-high ranking of 13 in Singles. His career goal is to achieve a Top 10 ranking in Singles and Doubles internationally and play in all 4 Slams. He plans to compete in Paris 2024 and LA 2028, representing Team USA. Currently, Casey lives in Lebanon, NH, and trains full-time with Coach Justin DeSanto at Dartmouth College as a volunteer assistant coach for men's tennis program.
