Β Caroline was raised in Paris and Scarsdale, New York. At age nine, she started swimming competitively for her townβs summer team, and at age thirteen, she started competing year-round for the White Plains YWCA Middies. In 2007, she joined the newly created Empire Swimming and trained with coach Ilan Noach. In 2012, Caroline graduated from Vassar College with a degree in French and Francophone Studies. Until recently she held the Vassar school records in the 200 and 400 IM. Since graduating, she has discovered the world of triathlon and is currently ranked nationally in her age group. Caroline has qualified three times for Escape from Alcatraz (2014, 2015, and 2016), and five times for USA Triathlon Nationals (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016). Competing in her first season in the professional field, Caroline is dedicated to achieving her full potential, as well as fulfilling her childhood dream of representing the United States at the professional level.
