I am a blind person who discovered the wonderful world of obstacle course racing in my early 40's. Since 2012 I have run approximately 100 OCRs, each year increasing the level of challenge. My overall goal is to show that it is possible to reach seemingly impossible achievements despite any limitation. I am a well-known figure in the sport and community, my accomplishments are recognized and appreciated. Some of the races I have run include: World's Toughest Mudder 2016, Obstacle Course Racing World Championships 2017, Spartan World Championship 2016/2017, Spartan Summer Agoge 2016 (60 hour endurance challenge), and Miles for Maria 47k. In 2018 I am looking forward to many more challenges including: the Knock on Wood 100 mile race, the Green Beret Challenge Championship, OCR World Championship 2018, and World's Toughest Mudder 2018.
