Why you should sponsor me for your next influencer campaign?

Amber Bretton from Gorham, Maine, is a sophomore on the softball team at the University of Connecticut in Storrs. Amber loves giving back to her community which is why she is a proud community ambassador for Aroma Joe's, UConn's team captain for Team Impact and national ambassador for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). Prior to playing for the Huskies, Bretton played at Gorham High School and played for several local and travel softball teams, including the Maine Flames, Maine Thunder and Rip City. Her softball career started at just 5 years old when she first started playing tee ball because of her older brother Jordan. Shortly after Little League, Bretton started playing softball. When she was 9 years old, she started playing up with teams that had girls that were much older than her, but she enjoyed the challenge. In 2016, in addition to playing softball for her local town team, she made the U10 travel team for the Maine Flames. She was a catcher in her younger years, but then was convinced to pitch because there weren't enough girls on her teams who could pitch well enough to win. Bretton, who displayed her strong arm as a catcher, agreed to become a pitcher because it was going to help her team win, and she has been winning ever since. After falling in love with pitching, coaches at the higher levels told her she wasn't good enough to be an elite pitcher. In her early teen years Bretton heard the comments and while discouraging, she turned those feelings into fuel for her passion to prove people wrong.

High School NIL: A Brand's Guide to Sponsoring High School Athletes

High school NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) opened a door that didn't exist three years ago: brands can now sponsor high school athletes directly, in most US states, with real money changing hands. For brands looking to reach a younger demographic, build long-term creator relationships, or get in early with future stars, this is the most overlooked opportunity in athlete marketing.
