After having my left leg amputated due to cancer in 2010, I transitioned from being a minor midget AAA hockey player to the sport of Para Ice Hockey. Since being named to the National Team in 2012-13, I've competed at three Paralympic Games winning a bronze and two silver medals, as well as two World Championship gold medals.
