Raised by two blue-collar parents, Tony believes in showing up and working hard every day. Outside of baseball, Tony’s interests include cats, video games, golfing and spending time with his family and friends. Tony's love for cats is so well-known that his teammates have nicknamed him “The Cat Man” and Saturdays he is slated to pitch are known as “Caturdays” to Dodger fans. Tony Gonsolin, enters the 2020 season looking to make a big contribution and establish himself in the Dodgers starting rotation after an impressive showing in his 2019 rookie season. Tony has a 4-pitch arsenal which includes his slider, splitter, curveball and fastball. He has a clean and easy delivery and a strong, athletic frame.
