hy, my name is Sophie Wallner, 28 years old, from Austria. I am Captain of the Austrian Women´s Volleyball Nationalteam and currently playing for SG Kelag Klagenfurt competing in the highest league in Austria. We want to fight to win the Championship this year. As well as an athlete and as a human being I always believed that if you work hard each and every day in your life you will get where you want and what you deserve. I am and always have been a hard working athlete that wants to strive to be the best version of myself on and off the court. So I always set myself up to big goals in life. My longterm goal regarding volleyball always was to be a professional volleyball player. In 2014 i was the only female professional volleyball player of my country. Now, my biggest goal is to qualify for the European Championships 2019 with my Nationalteam. It would be the first time for my country since the 1970ies. It´s a big goal but absolutely achievable for us. But like in team sports, you cannot achieve anything alone, so if you want to support me or us to achieve my or our life goals I would be very happy and very thankful! I also think that in times like these, it´s very important to give back to society and people in need, just to be there for each other a little bit more, so I am always up to contribute to any Charity action.
