 Hello, My name is Shivam Shetty and I am a professional Tae Kwon Do athlete in India. I have been practicing this sport for the last 15 years of my life. With 14 National medals and two International medals, my journey has been quite exciting. I have two notable accomplishments which is why I am here today. I am now the first player from my state to have been selected for the Summer Universiade 2021 and I have also bagged a place in the Indian team for the Olympic Qualification Trials (2021). It has been my lifelong dream to play at the Olympics and I am now quite close to actually achieving it. However, because of COVID-19 my father, who is the sole provider for our family, has faced quite a few unexpected financial challenges. My parents alone have funded all of my international tournaments and all local tournaments so far but we are at a point of financial fatigue where it has become essential to ask for help.
