Ryan Neiswender is a Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Gold Medalist, 2022 World Champion in wheelchair basketball, and an experienced corporate keynote speaker, based in Charlotte, NC. Born with a disability that affected the development of his quadricep muscles, Ryan discovered wheelchair basketball at the age of 8 and fell in love with the sport right away. He was first named to the National team as a senior in high school. He committed to playing wheelchair basketball at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Today, Ryan serves as the captain of the DI Charlotte Rollin' Hornets. Outside of work and basketball, Ryan is a motivational speaker and an aspiring life coach looking to help individuals and teams reach their untapped potential by leveraging the lessons he has learned as an elite athlete on Team USA and a business leader in corporate America. Ryan is looking forward to representing Team USA in Paris 2024.
